Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of ArtisianGO mobile and web applications (the “Service”) operated by ArtisianGO. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account. Artists must provide accurate business, location, and payout information.
Marketplace role
ArtisianGO provides a platform connecting clients with independent artists. Artists are not employees of ArtisianGO. We do not guarantee availability, quality, or outcomes of any service performed.
Bookings and payments
- Clients agree to pay quoted prices, platform fees, and applicable surcharges (including travel or Fast Pass where selected).
- Digital payments are processed by Paystack. Cash bookings may require artist wallet prepayment per platform rules.
- Cancellations, no-shows, and refunds follow in-app booking status rules and applicable law.
Artist obligations
- Provide accurate services, pricing, duration, and location information.
- Complete Paystack payout setup to receive digital payments.
- Comply with POPIA and obtain client consent where required for personal information you collect.
- Maintain professional conduct and honour confirmed bookings where reasonably possible.
Acceptable use
You may not use the Service for unlawful activity, harassment, fraud, impersonation, or attempts to bypass platform fees. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Intellectual property
ArtisianGO branding, software, and content are protected. You retain ownership of content you upload but grant us a licence to display it on the platform.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ArtisianGO is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or disputes between clients and artists. Our total liability is limited to fees paid to us in the preceding three months.
Account termination
You may delete your account in the app at any time (Profile → Legal & support → Delete account). We may suspend or remove accounts that breach these Terms or pose security or legal risk.
Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
